Advaita: the path of non-duality

Advaita, or the path of non-duality, prescribes that only God exists in the ultimate reality and that we are deceived by our desires into the illusion of separation. Full realization of the ultimate oneness is said to be beyond the ego, beyond the illusion of subject and object, good and bad, high and low, and all other pairs of opposites, to the ground on which the manifest universe rests. This is where the mind and thinking cannot reach and which is beyond words. Yet this is where, it is said, we have always been.

Ramana Maharshi and Nisargadatta Maharaj are considered the two great modern masters of Advaita. Talks with Sri Ramana Maharshi and I am That are perhaps the most definitive texts on the path of Non-duality.

Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj
The great teacher of the philosophy of non-duality and every person's oneness with God incorporates fundamental Advaita belief with his own unique interpretation of the Truth.
